Jordan Peele’s Get Out follow-up is called Us, has a cast

Jordan Peele’s Us is looking at Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o and Elisabeth Moss

The extremely secret follow-up to Jordan Peele’s 2017 hit Get Out finally has a title: Us.

The director announced the news on Twitter this week when he tweeted out a new poster for the film.

According to THRUs also already has some cast members attached. The Haidmaid’s Tale‘s Elisabeth Moss and Black Panther‘s Winston Duke and Lupita Nyong’o are all in talks to star.

As with Get Out, Peele is set to direct from his own script. He’s also producing via his Monkeypaw Productions banner alongside Sean McKittrick and Jason Blum, and Monkeypaw’s Ian Cooper.

Not much is known about the film’s plot. All that’s clear is that it will be set in suburbia and focus on two couples, one black and one white. When the aforementioned actors fully sign up, Duke and Nyong’o should be playing one couple, while Moss should be one half of the other.

Us is in cinemas on 15 March 2019. Get all the latest horror news with every issue of SciFiNow.
