Is the Locke & Key TV series as good as dead?

Pittsburgh paper reports that the show is shutting up shop

According to local news portal Community Voices, the sets for Joe Hill comic adaptation Locke & Key are being dismantled at Pittsburgh’s 31st Street Studios, making it incredibly unlikely that the producers found a home for the series following Fox’s rejection of the pilot early last month.

Joe Hill’s most recent novel Horns, meanwhile, comes out in a new paperback edition on Friday and has already been picked up as a film with Transformers star Shia LeBeouf. So one door opens just as another closes.
