A new trailer for Netflix’s Iron Fist is here, and it looks like the latest Marvel TV show is going to be a bit lighter than its fellow Defenders.
So, the question of how Iron Fist is going to stand out from the rest of the team is that this all looks a lot less dark and brooding and a lot more like an adventure. It’s good to see Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing getting in on the ass-kicking, Rosario Dawson’s Claire Temple is always welcome, and David Wenham’s villainous Harold Meachum gets our favourite line in the trailer: “How the hell did he learn martial arts?”
Iron Fist comes from showrunner Scott Buck and stars Game Of Thrones‘ Finn Jones as Danny Rand, along with Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum, Tom Pelphry as Ward Meachum. Jessica Jones‘ Carrie-Ann Moss also appears as Jeri Hogarth but, despite rumours, it looks like Simone Bissick’s Misty Knight won’t be crossing over from Luke Cage.
