Hot in the heels of Green Lantern, another lesser known member of the DC superhero pantheon is soaring up and into the limelight, with Warner Bros revealing that they’re in the process of sounding out writers for a Hawkman movie.
All that exists so far is a synopsis which echoes our own pitch in the recent issue for a 30s, Nazi-bashing archeological superhero romp. Give us a call Warner, we should talk!
It reads: “Part Indiana Jones/Da Vinci Code, part Ghost tentpole about the fictional superhero that appears in DC comic-books. He used archaic weaponry and large, artificial wings attached to a harness made of the Nth metal that allows flight.
