Pee-Wee Herman star Paul Reubens has become accustomed to popping up here and there in minor roles over the years. Now, he can add Gotham to his list of credits, as he’ll turn up playing the father of Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor), aka the Penguin – ironically, the same role he (briefly) played in Tim Burton’s Batman Returns. Whether he’ll be an approving father figure or neglectful one like he was in the movie remains to be seen, but after seeing his performances in shows like The Blacklist, we’re looking forward to seeing how he gets on.
