It looks like the reasons to round on Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters movie are becoming less and less by the moment. With Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd already confirmed for roles in the movie, yet another familiar name has been added to the cast, according to The Hollywood Reporter: none other than Winston Zeddemore himself, Ernie Hudson.
Hang on, you might ask. Didn’t he come out fairly strongly against it pretty recently? Well, yes he did. But it looks like he’s changed his mind and let bygones be bygones, as evidenced by his presence on set, plus his description of the cast as follows: “Four fiercely funny, foxy, females busting ghosts… phenomenal!” It seems like he’s finally come around. Welcome to the club, Ernie.
He joins a cast that includes Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones as the new ‘busters, in addition to a supporting cast involving the likes of Chris Hemsworth, Andy Garcia, Michael K Williams, Matt Walsh and many more.
Ghostbusters will be released in cinemas on 15 July 2016. For more news about the biggest movies, pick up the latest issue of SciFiNow.
