Indie company Green Knight Ventures will be producing a remake of Edgar Allan Poe’s ‘The Fall Of The House Of Usher’ according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Stephen Kay – whose last feature film was Boogeyman – is poised to direct this 3D feature, while Claire Forlani, Dougray Scott and Rufus Sewell are set to star. The project will be written by Gian Marco Masoni.
Published in 1839, ‘The Fall Of The House Of Usher’ centred on the spooky goings on at the residence of Roderick Usher. This adaptation of the text, The Ushers as it has been titled, will take a contemporary slant on this story and is yet to go into production.
