As usual he’s cagey on the details – that’s our Moff, all right – but Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat was happy to talk up the 50th anniversary plans at the recent Christmas special screening, saying of the episodes, “They are immense, they are considerable, they will be full of tremendous surprises. But they wouldn’t be surprises if I accidentally said them now, would they?
“But I promise you,” he added, “we’re going to take over television. Trust me.”
