Of all the upcoming Marvel movies, we’ve been particularly impressed with the casting choices for Doctor Strange, which even by the House of Ides’ standards is pretty strong. Now, we’ve got another decent name to add to the list, with Amy Landecker being confirmed for a role.
According to The Wrap, Landecker’s role is unspecified at present, although considering her performances in Amazon’s award-winning drama Transparent, we’re sure she’ll be great. In any case, bearing in mind the calibre of cast she’ll find herself alongside – Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mads Mikkelsen and Michael Stuhlbarg – she’ll have to be!

She joins director Scott Derrickson on board, with Kevin Feige producing and Jon Spaihts on script duties.
Doctor Strange will be released in cinemas on 28 October 2016. You can find out more about the characters and the comics that inspired them by picking up the latest edition of 100 All-Time Greatest Comics.
