After much horse trading on behalf of 20th Century Fox to keep their long stalled Daredevil reboot in motion, it seems that the project has finally failed to secure funding, and the rights revert to Marvel Studios.
The A-Team director Joe Carnahan, who had most recently pitched for the reboot, said on Twitter, “Think my idea for a certain retro, red-suited, Serpico-styled superhero went up in smoke today kids.
“We shall see,” he added. “Time is NOT on anyone’s side.”
