Daniel Radcliffe and Alexandre Aja’s film adpatation of Joe Hill’s novel Horns is in need of more special effects work.
We’ve barely seen any promotion or even images from the film, and The Wrap reports that the reason is that Newbreed, the special effects company working on Horns, has been struggling with a cash flow crisis, which meant that many of their artists have left. Mandalay Pictures and Red Granite Pictures are now looking for another effects company to complete the work, which is approximated at 20% of the total effects shots.
At the moment Horns is still slated for an 11 October release date. You can buy Horns in paperback for £6.32 at Amazon.co.uk.
