Marvel brought out its big guns in Hall H, with the entire assembled cast of The Avengers on stage. Featured and announced were Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye. Marvel president Kevin Feige received a bit of stick for the Edward Norton debacle that erupted just before Con, but Joss Whedon assuaged the crowd with the confirmation that he was directing the film during his panel with JJ Abrams, along with a bit of self-deprecating humour. No other details about the story were released, although we can gather a lot of what it’ll be based around thanks to the Captain America and Thor panels. Whedon also told io9 that Cap and Iron Man won’t be getting along in his film.
