Chuck has been given a new lease of life by NBC today, albeit an abridged one at a reduced budget, thanks to a deal brokered with Warner Brothers Television.
The spy-fi series will return for a third season of 13 episodes, however, there are a number of conditions attached to the deal, according to entertainment columnist Michael Ausiello. In addition to the reduced number of episodes and budget, there has reportedly been a scaling back of the amount of episodes the supporting cast appear in, with Ausiello claiming that one of them could be off the show altogether.
However, this is excellent news for Chuck fans, who have worked intelligently and tirelessly over the last two months to bring the show back in the autumn. Good work, guys.
