Blumhouse Into The Dark horror series first look at episode 1, ‘The Body’

Get a first look at Hulu’s Into The Dark premiere episode ‘The Body’

Blumhouse Television’s Into The Dark horror series is kicking off this month, with the first episode, ‘The Body‘, premiering on US streaming service Hulu on 5 October.

The Body‘ is the first of 12 episodes that are set to air on Hulu monthly for the rest of 2018 and into 2019, with each episode focusing on a different seasonal holiday. ‘The Body‘ will of course be set during Halloween.

Here’s the synopsis:

A sophisticated hitman with a cynical view on modern society finds his work made more difficult when he has to transport a body on Halloween night, but everyone is enamoured by what they think is his killer costume.

In partnership with Blumhouse Television, Into The Dark is a horror event series from prolific, award-winning producer, Jason Blum’s independent TV studio. The series includes 12 super-sized episodes, with a new instalment released each month inspired by a holiday and will feature Blumhouse’s signature genre/thriller spin on the story.

The Body‘ stars Tom Bateman as Wilkes, Rebecca Rittenhouse as Maggie, Aurora Perrineau as Dorothy, David Hull as Allan and Ray Santiago as Jack. It was directed by Paul Davis and written by Davis and Paul Fisher.
