Betty Gilpin and JK Simmons set to join Chris Pratt in Ghost Draft

GLOW’s Betty Gilpin and Whiplash’s JK Simmons are set to join Chris Pratt in sci-fi action film Ghost Draft

GLOW star Betty Gilpin is set to join Chris Pratt in upcoming sci-fi action film Ghost Draft, according to Variety. JK Simmons (Whiplash) is also currently in negotiations for a role.

The film is coming from Skydance and Paramount, and will follow a man (Pratt) drafted to fight in a future war where the fate of humanity relies on his ability to confront his past. Lego Batman‘s Chris McKay is directing from a script written by Zach Dean.

Ghost Draft is also set to star Yvonne Strahovski (ChuckA Handmaid’s Tale) and Ryan Kiera Armstrong (The Art Of Racing In The Rain). It is unclear who Gilpin and Simmons would be playing at this point.

David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, David Goyer, Jules Daly and Adam Kolbrenner are all producing the film, with Matt Grim overseeing for Skydance. Production is expected to begin at the end of this summer.
