Appearing briefly at San Diego Comic Con, Marvel mastermind Joss Whedon unveiled the logo for his Avengers follow-up, and with it some of the story.
2015’s Avengers: Age Of Ultron will be based on the recent Age Of Ultron crossover written by fan-favourite Brian Michael Bendis in which Hank Pym’s most infamous creation, the vicious robot Ultron, returns to take over Earth.
How this makes its transition to the big screen will be fascinating, as they’re somehow going to weave in Ultron’s origin story with this epic Terminator-style post-apocalypse, possibly departing from the comic as Pym (aka Ant-Man) has yet to be officially introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
