To the surprise of absolutely nobody, HBO have renewed True Blood for a seventh season, according to Collider.
Though its ratings aren’t nearly as strong as Season 5, True Blood Season 6 has still been one of the cable channel’s big draws and Season 7 will be the first full run with Brian Buckner as showrunner, as he replaced creator Alan Ball’s original replacement Mark Hudis half-way through production.
True Blood Season 6 is currently airing on HBO in the US, and will come to the UK later this year on FOX. Pick up Season 5 on DVD for £28.75 or Blu-ray for £36 from Amazon.co.uk.
