The DC Comics do-over last year scrapped Superman’s long-time lover Lois Lane and made room for a new woman in his life – Wonder Woman! Their relationship will develop in Justice League #12, Entertainment Weekly reveals.
The issue goes on sale 29th August and writer Geoff Johns has hinted at an event that will “impact every member of the Justice League, and cause Superman and Wonder Woman to seek solace in each other,” according to EW.
John adds: “This is the new status quo,” implying that this is no one-night stand. Apparently, the relationship “will have a seismic impact on all the heroes and villains in the DC universe.
