Grounded, creepy horror movie Talk To Me has set a new box office record for its UK distributor Altitude with over £640,000 grossed after its opening weekend and now the US’s distributor, A24, has confirmed a sequel, before it’s even left UK cinemas!

Talk To Me follows a group of friends who discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand and become hooked on the new thrill, until one of them goes too far and unleashes terrifying supernatural forces.
Michael and Danny Philippou’s feature diectorial debut has been electrifying audiences since its Sundance Film Festival launch last month and is the best-reviewed horror film of 2023, says Altitude (check out our five star review here).
The Philippou brothers are set to return to make the sequel, but plot details are yet to be revealed. Though if our conversation with them recently is anything to go by, we know the horror sequel is in good hands (sorry) as the pair have been wanting to make horror movies since they were young: “Wanting to do horror films goes back to when we were little kids,” Michael told us. “We’ve always wanted to do it.”
