If you enjoyed The Exorcist Season 1 last year, you’re likely to enjoy Season 2 even more, because it’s going to have John Cho (Star Trek, Harold & Kumar) in it.
The show’s renewal was somewhat of a surprise, albeit a pleasant one, and it looks like the pleasant surprises are continuing.
Season 2 is set to pick up with Father Tomas Ortega (Alfonso Herrera) and Marcus Keane (Ben Daniels) leaving Chicago and heading out in search of evil. Meanwhile, Father Bennett (Kurt Egyiawan) is at the Vatican while he attempts to weed out those who have turned against God.
Cho comes into the story when Tomas and Marcus meet Andrew Kim (played by Cho), a former child psychologist who runs a group home for five at-risk foster children on a secluded private island off the coast of Seattle. When one of the children Andrew cares for is targeted by a powerful force, Tomas and Marcus head west to help.
The Exorcist was created by Jeremy Slater, and Slater, Sean Crouch, Rupert Wyatt, Roy Lee, James Robinson, David Robinson and Barbara Wall serve as executive producers.
The Exorcist Season 2 is set to premiere on 29 September on Fox in the US. Get all the latest horror news with every issue of SciFiNow.
