Saturday Night Live legend Chevy Chase is the latest actor to join the cast of Hot Tub Time Machine, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Steve Pink is directing this time-travel comedy and is working from a Josh Heald script. The film’s plot centres on a group of aging guys who find themselves hurled back into the heady days of their youth in 1987. In a funny twist the tub in question is, in fact, the vehicle these men use for their time skipping. John Cusack is already starring while Chase’s role has been rumoured to be that of a mentor come repairman.
Hot Tub Time Machine is currently in production and will be released in February 2010.
