Well this is incredible news that we didn’t see coming. We all love Tremors. Tremors is brilliant. It even had a good DTV sequel recently with Tremors 5: Bloodline. But this is a surprise.
Deadline reports that a Tremors TV series is “in the works from Universal Cable Prods and Jason Blum’s Blumhouse Prods,” and that Kevin Bacon is on board to produce AND star. That’s right, he would appear to be returning as Valentine McKee. Hell yes.
Details are obviously scarce at this point, but we could not be more excited about a return to Perfection, Nevada and its giant subterranean man-eating worms.
One stipulation that we do have: Michael Gross absolutely must return as Burt Gummer. It’s not Tremors without Burt Gummer.
