According to the BBC website, the 2012 Doctor Who Christmas Special will see a new-look TARDIS interior to replaced the Early Learning Centre dieselpunk that has come to be a hallmark of the Matt Smith era of the show.
Described as “a whole new magical world”, it was designed by production designer Michael Pickwoad.
