20th Century Fox’s ambitious reboot of Daredevil – based on Frank Miller’s Born Again storyline – is now without a director according to Deadline.

30 Days Of Night and Twilight: Eclipse helmer David Slade had to back out due to his commitments to the Hannibal TV series, and Fox need to kick off production in Autumn in order to retain the rights, and so they’re likely to press on ahead regardless.

Do you think they should keep at it, or just let the rights go back to Marvel and pray for a big budget, post-Avengers Assemble Daredevil movie under the watchful eye of Kevin Feige?
