Talking to myFanbase, actor Bianca Lawson who plays witch Emily Bennett in The CW’s supernatural drama The Vampire Diaries, and starred in three episodes of Buffy The Vampire Slayer as Kendra, the Slayer activated when Buffy Summers first died, albeit briefly, discussed the differences between the two.
“Tonally, they feel like such different shows to me,” explained Lawson. “The Vampire Diaries feels a little more serious, whereas Buffy was more humorous and tongue-in-cheek, I think.
“Emily is very internal and still… where Kendra was very physical, emotionally inexperienced and solid.”
The Vampire Diaries Season 4 is expected to air autumn on ITV2, while Season 3 is available on DVD and UV copy from Amazon.co.uk priced £27.99.
