Fox has announced that Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace will arrive in 3D on February 10, 2012 in the United States. The first of the movies to be converted to the 3D format, the plan is that Lucas will roll out the subsequent films in the years that follow.
The Phantom Menace was originally released in 1999, courting widespread critical acclaim and the affections of Star Wars fans everywhere.
