{"id":114835,"date":"2020-08-20T14:30:47","date_gmt":"2020-08-20T13:30:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.scifinow.co.uk\/?p=114835"},"modified":"2020-08-20T13:46:30","modified_gmt":"2020-08-20T12:46:30","slug":"dc-fandome-virtual-event-to-be-split-for-on-demand-viewing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scifinow.co.uk\/news\/dc-fandome-virtual-event-to-be-split-for-on-demand-viewing\/","title":{"rendered":"DC FanDome: Virtual event to be split for on-demand viewing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DC has announced that its FanDome virtual event will now be split in two &#8211; an eight-hour <strong>DC FanDome: Hall of Heroes<\/strong> show on Saturday 22 August, followed three weeks later by <strong>DC FanDome: Explore the Multiverse<\/strong>, a 24-hour, on-demand experience accessed via the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dcfandome.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DCFanDome.com<\/a> program scheduler on Saturday 12 September.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/h9Iq2rY6hZE\" width=\"375\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is an incredible way to deliver for our fans and offer them twice the DC FanDome experience,\u201d said Jim Lee. \u201cSeeing all the feedback in real-time on social media, we realised that the only way to do \u2018Justice\u2019 to DC FanDome was to allow it to evolve and expand into two unique events.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On 22 August, fans will be transported into the <strong>DC FanDome: Hall of Heroes <\/strong>(designed personally by Jim Lee no less!) which features special programming, panels and exclusive reveals from DC films, TV series, games, comics and more (read our pick of the line-up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scifinow.co.uk\/blog\/dc-fandome-what-to-expect-from-the-virtual-event\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>). Beginning at 18:00 BST, the eight-hour show will air three times during a 24-hour period and can be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dcfandome.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DCFanDome.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On 12 September, <strong>DC FanDome: Explore the Multiverse<\/strong> will give DC fans full access to over 100 hours of on-demand content (from 18:00 BST). To navigate all 100+ hours, viewers can use the official DC FanDome: Explore the Multiverse program scheduler found at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dcfandome.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DCFanDome.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Further to this, launching on the same day (12 September), DC Kids FanDome &#8211; a kid-friendly companion event to DC FanDome &#8211;\u00a0 can be accessed separately over at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dckidsfandome.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DCKidsFanDome.com<\/a>. The one-day only kid\/big-kid festivities kick off at 18:00 BST.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>DC FanDome: Hall of Heroes opens its doors on 22 August <\/strong><\/em><em><strong>at 18:00 BST and DC FanDome: Explore the Multiverse will be available on 12 September at 18:00 BST &#8211; both at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dcfandome.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DCFanDome.com<\/a>.
