For the last several months we&#8217;ve all been asking who will be voicing killer doll Chucky (or rather, the spirit of serial killer Charles Lee Ray trapped in the body of a child&#8217;s doll), and now we finally have our answer.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">&#8220;People let me tell you &#8217;bout my best friend&#8230;&#8221;????<br \/>\nThe wicked fun begins when <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ChildsPlayMovie?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@ChildsPlayMovie<\/a> is unleashed in theaters: Friday, June 21st 2019. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/SoLuckyImChucky?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#SoLuckyImChucky<\/a> ???? <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MGM_Studios?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@MGM_Studios<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/OrionPictures?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@OrionPictures<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ExOYuwj9sP\">pic.twitter.com\/ExOYuwj9sP<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Mark Hamill (@HamillHimself) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HamillHimself\/status\/1112163481803849728?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 31, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Mark Hamill will be lending his mighty vocals to the role, and anyone who&#8217;s heard his Joker will know what a great choice that is. No one is ever going to replace Brad Dourif (nor should they even try) but if you need someone who can do gleefully evil and deliver a maniacal laugh on cue, Hamill&#8217;s a great shout.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, the reboot is still something of sore spot for <strong><em>Child&#8217;s Play<\/em><\/strong> writer Don Mancini, who&#8217;s continued the film series with great success (we&#8217;ll agree to forget <strong><em>Child&#8217;s Play 3<\/em><\/strong>) and is putting a TV series together with that core cast. If you&#8217;ve not caught up with <strong><em>Curse Of Chucky<\/em><\/strong> or <strong><em>Cult Of Chucky<\/em><\/strong> yet, they&#8217;re smart, scary and funny and we can&#8217;t wait to see what that team comes up with.<\/p>\n<p>The remake is directed by Lars Klevberg (<strong><em>Polaroid<\/em><\/strong>) and written by Tyler Burton Smith.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Child&#8217;s Play is released on 21 June in the US.
