We’ll be getting more Soldier Boy action as the world of The Boys gets expanded once more with a new prequel series that will bring back Jensen Ackles as the bad boy superhero, alongside Aya Cash as Stormfront in Vought Rising.

Past spinoffs from the world of The Boys include Gen V and The Boys Presents: Diabolical.

Cash and Ackles will also serve as producers on the series and Paul Grellong (The Boys, Revolution) will serve as showrunner and executive producer. Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Ori Marmur, Pavun Shetty, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, and Michaela Starr also serve as executive producers on the series.

“We are excited to bring you the next deranged series from the world of The Boys,” said executive producer Eric Kripke and series showrunner and executive producer Paul Grellong at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, where the show was announced. “It’s a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical manoeuvres of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought.

“We cannot wait to blow your minds and trouble your souls with this salacious, grisly saga drenched in blood and Compound V.”

Season Four of The Boys and the first season of  Gen V and The Boys Presents: Diabolical are all available to stream on Prime Video.
