Pennyworth Season Two: Release date and trailer revealed

Blimey! Expect the second season of Pennyworth to crash onto screens next February on STARZPLAY!

Bloody hell kids, Season Two of the amazing DC origin series Pennyworth will soon be heading our way and we couldn’t be more excited!

Pennyworth follows Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon – The Imitation Game), a former British SAS soldier in his 20s, who forms a security company in 1960s London and goes to work with young billionaire Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge – Our Girl, Reign), before he becomes Bruce Wayne’s father.

Season Two will be picking up after Season One’s explosive finale and in addition to Bannon and Aldridge, Pennyworth Season Two will feature the return of Emma Paetz (Gentleman Jack), Hainsley Lloyd Bennett (Eastenders), Ryan Fletcher (Outlander), Dorothy Atkinson (Hanna) and Ian Puleston-Davies (Tin Star), as well as Paloma Faith (The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus) and Jason Flemyng (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button).

It has also been announced that James Purefoy (Altered Carbon), Edward Hogg (Taboo), Jessye Romeo (Curfew), Ramon Tikaram (Brassic) and Harriet Slater (Faunutland and the Lost Magic) would be joining the cast as series regulars.
