The series kicks off Stateside on 5 June with ‘The Sacrifice’ – penned by Del Howison and directed by Breck Eisner (Stephen Spielberg’s Taken and 2005 Indy clone Sahara) – which tells the story of a group of fleeing criminals that includes Charlie Jade’s Jeffrey Pierce, who get more than they bargained for when they hole up in an old snow-covered fort.

The following episode, ‘Spooked’ is directed by Brad Anderson, who made his name with the creepy Session 9 and the Christian Bale-starring The Machinist, from a script by Matt Venne of White Noise 2 The Light infamy. It stars Eric Roberts, last seen in Heroes, as a private eye staking out a haunted house.

The third episode for which details have emerged is titled ‘The Family Man’, directed by Ronny Yu (Freddy Vs Jason) and written by Dan Knauf (TV’s Supernatural), which stars Eureka’s Colin Ferguson as the titular family gent who swaps bodies with a deranged serial killer.

NBC has a 13-episode run of the series, with following instalments helmed by noted directors and genre mainstays such as John Dahl, John Landis, Darren Lynn Bousman, Rob Bowman and Stuart Gordon.
