Heroes co-executive producers Jesse Alexander and Jeph Loeb, who had been with the super-powered show since its first season, have been let go by NBC as the network tries to give the show a shake up.
NBC was reportedly unhappy with the direction the show had been taking, and large budget overruns were also, allegedly, a factor in the decision. The show’s third season has suffered from poor ratings, too, which have been significantly down on the show’s previous year. NBC and Universal Media Studios, who produce the show, are yet to make a comment on the decision.
