Dune’s epic-looking prequel series Dune: Prophecy will officially be released on Sky and streaming service NOW this November, with new episodes in the six-episode series being released every Monday.

The series is inspired by the novel Sisterhood of Dune, written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson. Check out the brand-new trailer…

From the expansive universe of Dune, created by acclaimed author Frank Herbert, and set 10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, Dune: Prophecy follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind, and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit.

Alison Schapker (Lost, Westworld, Altered Carbon) serves as showrunner and executive producer on the series, which stars Emily Watson (The Third Day), Olivia Williams (The Nevers), Travis Fimmel (Vikings), Jodhi May (The Witcher), Mark Strong (Shazam!), Sarah-Sofie Boussnina (Knightfall), and Josh Heuston (Heartbreak High).

Diane Ademu-John (The Originals, The Haunting of Bly Manor) co-developed the series and serves as executive producer. Brian Herbert, along with Byron Merritt and Kim Herbert serve as executive producers for the Frank Herbert estate.

Dune: Prophecy will debut on Monday 18 November exclusively on Sky and streaming service NOW.
