Bruce Boxleitner, known to genre fans as Captain John Sheridan of Babylon 5, will be appearing in the next season of Heroes.
The news comes from noted Hollywood journalist Michael Ausiello, and while the exact details of the role are being kept quiet, it was originally based on presidential hopeful Senator John McCain. The character has apparently been reworked since then, although it will reportedly have significant screen time during the third outing of NBC’s hit show.
