Torchwood: Children Of Earth’s five-day stint on BBC1 has attracted high ratings, with the broadcaster reporting that Monday’s viewing figures for episode one have hit the 5.9 million mark. In comparison, series two racked up numbers ranging between 2.5 and 4.2 million, which marks a promising development for the Doctor Who spin off.
