Dimension Films has snapped up remake rights to the Eighties smash Short Circuit, which starred Ally Sheedy and Steve Guttenberg. The original film’s writers, SS Wilson and Brent Maddock, have been hired to write the script for the remake with David Foster, Ryan E Heppe and John Hyde producing.
