With the cancellation of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Summer Glau could be heading back to television with a role in Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse, according to the creator himself.
20th Century Fox, the network that airs Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse, has reportedly come down hard on a fansite that it accuses of “doing a great disservice to the show,” with the director of publicity personally sending an e-mail to its webmaster.
Kevin Reilly, the president of entertainment at Fox, recently fielded a conference call from journalists asking about the decisions that led to the controversial renewal of Dollhouse and the cancellation of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
In a surprising move, Fox has reportedly renewed the ailing freshman show Dollhouse for a second season, surprising many outlets who had previously written it off as a lost cause.
DVD & Blu-Ray Dollhouse, the freshman series from Buffy The Vampire Slayer creator, will be coming to Blu-ray and DVD on 28 July in the United States, including the unaired episode Epitaph One.
The season finale of Dollhouse slumped in its ratings once more last Friday, further cementing the distinct possibility of cancellation when Fox announces its shows for next year on 18 May.
