Marvel’s Super Soldier returns in Captain America: Reborn
Captain America, the wildly popular superhero created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby nearly 70 years ago, will be brought back to life in the very short future, according to Marvel chief Joe Quesada. The character was gunned down outside of a courthouse nearly two years ago at the end of the Civil War story arc, causing rampant speculation in fan circles about who would take his place with The Punisher, Frank Castle, being touted at the time as a possible star-spangled saviour.
