Prop Store auctions iconic pieces from Jurassic Park, Star Wars and Jaws!

Batsuits and TIE Pilot helmets to be auctioned off tomorrow at Prop Store auction

If you haven’t got yourself down to the BFI IMAX to check out the Prop Store exhibition in partnership with Odeon, you need to get your skates on, as tomorrow (27 September) is the day of the big auction.

An incredible range of film props and movie memorabilia is being auctioned off, with a net worth of over £1.5 million!

Some of the pieces available to bid on include Christian Bale’s Batsuit from The Dark Knight Rises (which will set you back between £40-60,000), a TIE Pilot Helmet from Star Wars: A New Hope (you can expect to shell out somewhere between £50 and £70,000 for that), Richard Attenborough’s own personal annotated script from Jurassic Park (£30-£40,000, spared no expense), and Steven Spielberg’s clapperboard from Jaws (also £30-40,000, so you may have to pick and choose)!

There’s Harry’s acceptance letter from Hogwarts, Mulder and Scully’s FBI photo ID/badges from The X-Files, the hero Batpod vehicle from The Dark Knight Rises and, if the Batsuit from TDKR sounded a bit expensive, you can save a bit of cash on Bale’s Batman Begins suit, which is priced between £30-40,000.

There is an incredible range of props on offer (they’re not all as expensive as the ones that we’ve picked out!) so take advantage of this amazing opportunity to buy a piece of movie history!
