A pair of international trailers have appeared for Jake Paltrow’s post-apocalyptic tale Young Ones, starring Michael Shannon, Elle Fanning, Nicholas Hoult and Kodi Smit-McPhee.
The trailers (from BloodyDisgusting) give us our first real look at the film, which is “Set in the future when water is hard to find a teenage boy sets out to protect his family and survive.”
While the trailers seem a little tonally inconsistent, the cast is excellent and it looks like it could be an interesting coming of age spin on the post-apocalyptic hard-scrabble survival movie.
There is currently no UK release date for Young Ones.
