In another compelling rumour from Bleeding Cool‘s Warner Bros insider, The CW look to be adding to their booming slate of DC Comics properties based around their hit show Arrow – with iZombie and Flash in development and Hourman rumoured – with a new teen drama/romance “with a superhero twist.”

Based around Young Justice, the stars of the much loved animated series that took its lead from Geoff Johns’ Teen Titans run, the team will be led by Superboy – the teenage clone of Superman – and Miss Martian, a shape-shifting, telepathic white martian pretending to be green in emulation of the Justice League’s Martian Manhunter.

Tonally this is much more in line with The CW’s Arrow than with the Christopher Nolan-inspired big screen DC universe being assembled around Zack Snyder’s Man Of Steel sequel.

With a 2015 air-date lined up, can we expect to see Young Justice teased in Arrow Season 3?

Arrow Season 2 is airing every Monday at 8pm, on Sky 1 HD and Sky Go. Arrow Season 1 is out now on DVD for £21.02 or on Blu-ray for £27.49 from Amazon.co.uk.
