If you decided that you’d quite like to go to Comic-Con this year, say, in January, chances are that you were disappointed. Like most big events, tickets now sell out ridiculously quickly once they go on sale, and while they’re not quite at the standard of the annual frantic Reading Festival Ticket fiasco, it’s getting close.
However, if you’ve got a huge chunk of change available, you can still go, if you’re quick. Four-day memberships will be going on sale as a part of hotel packages which are not cheap. For four of you, you’re looking at about $1000.
That being said, if you have the money, you can do worse than the hotels here. I stayed at the San Diego Hilton in Mission Valley the last time that I went, and it is nice. Just expect to be shelling out a fair bit in taxi fares if you want to stay out late.
