After years languishing in development purgatory, according to Vulture New Line Cinema’s adaptation of Brian K Vaughan and Pia Guerra’s Y: The Last Man comic-book, about the sole male survivor of an apocalypse that wipes out all men on the planet, is moving ahead as a “priority”.
The studio are said to be pleased with the most recent version of the script, provided by former Jericho writers Matthew Federman and Stephen Scaia, and are looking for a director and cast.
