The Sam Raimi-produced cult fantasy series Xena: Warrior Princess could be looking at a revival, as star Lucy Lawless tweeted, “Had an interesting call from a chap who wants to re-invigorate the #Xena brand. You guys may have started something.
“But there’s a lot of red tape around #XWP so don’t get your knickers in a twist,” Lawless added. “It may come back in a different form.”
The original show began life as a spin-off from Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, and ran for six seasons from 1995 to 2001.
