X-Men: Days Of Future Past’s Peter Dinklage is playing Bolivar Trask?

Game Of Thrones’ Peter Dinklage could be Bolivar Trask in the X-Men sequel

The latest rumour surrounding the recently cast antagonist of Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days Of Future Past, this time coming from MTV Geek, suggests Peter Dinklage will be playing Bolivar Trask.

Trask, the creator of the mutant hunting Sentinels, was last seen in 2006’s piss-widdle WWE special X-Men: The Last Stand, played by Bill Duke.

Perhaps (if it’s true) for continuity’s sake Dinklage will be playing a character fulfilling a similar role, but with a different name, or maybe they’ll just ignore it and sweep it under the carpet with all the other casting changes and inconsistencies that have cropped up over the slightly messy X-Men movie franchise.

Pick up X-Men: The Ultimate Collection, containing all five films so far, on Blu-ray for £19.75 and DVD for £15.29 from Amazon.co.uk. X-Men: Days Of Future Past is due in cinemas 18 July 2014.
