A24 has released a poster for their upcoming horror Woodshock ahead of the imminent trailer debut and we are very excited to see what this one is going to look like. (via IMPAwards)
Woodshock comes from writer-director duo Kate and Laura Mulleavy and stars Kirsten Dunst, Pilou Asbaek (Ghost In The Shell), Joe Cole (Green Room) and Lorelei Linklater (Boyhood). There’s not much to report by way of plot:
“A woman falls deeper into paranoia after taking a deadly drug.”
Dunst has been on an incredible run of form recently, with varied roles in excellent movies like Midnight Special and Hidden Figures, and she’s part of the ensemble cast of Sofia Coppola’s highly anticipated remake of The Beguiled. She was also absolutely superb in the second season of Fargo as Peggy Blumquist.
A24 have been behind some of our favourite genre films of the last few years, so we can’t wait to see more on this.
