Having stolen the show in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, we’ve been massively excited about Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman solo movie for a while now. Set in what looks like the WW2 era, it looks like we’ll be seeing a whole new side to Gal Gadot’s Amazon warrior – and thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we have some all-new pics from the film: showing Gadot and co-star Chris Pine in character as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince and Steve Trevor respectively alongside director Jenkins. This is actually happening, and we can hardly wait.
Below is the synopsis for the film:
Wonder Woman hits movie theaters around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
Gadot and Pine star alongside Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis, Danny Huston, Ewen Bremner and Said Taghmaoui.
