After various rumours regarding when the sequel to Wonder Woman will be taking place we finally have definitive confirmation, thanks to this teaser image:
1984. Diana Prince will be heading for the Cold War.
The image was posted on Facebook by Geoff Johns, DC Entertainment’s president and chief creative officer, and Wonder Woman 2 director Patty Jenkins has since uploaded it as her Twitter header image.
Not much else is known about the plot, but we do know that the Cheetah (played by Kristen Wiig) will be the film’s villain, and Game Of Thrones and Narco star Pedro Pascal has joined the cast in an undisclosed role.
