He was previously reported to be in negotiations, but according to director Bryan Singer, The Wolverine star Hugh Jackman has officially signed up to reprise his iconic role as the clawed mutant in the X-Men: First Class sequel X-Men: Days Of Future Past.
Singer said on Twitter, “I would officially like to welcome @RealHughJackman to the cast of #Xmen Days of Future Past. Very excited! More to come…”
Whether Wolverine will be appearing in only the future segments, the Sixties segments or both, as well as whether its a full role or a mere cameo, has yet to be revealed. Either way, it’s pretty exciting…
