Wolverine 3: Logan has seen better days in new pic

Plus first Reaver pics and new Wolverine 3 teaser hinted at

All the indications for Logan so far are that it will follow the storyline of Mark Millar’s Old Man Logan comic-book, and the latest picture to be released seems to back this up. Judging by the scarred face and faraway look in his eyes, Logan has seen better days, appearing to back up the theories that this will follow an aged Logan whose healing factor isn’t working like it once was.

And then we have this eerie-looking teaser for the main trailer, which has him uttering the words: “Nature made me a freak, man made me a weapon, and God made it last too long.” Sounds like he’s not too happy.

On top of that – confirming recent rumours – the Reavers (cyborg assassins working under the leadership of Donald Pierce) will be present to cause havok, and will presumably have something to do with the lack of mutants in the world. As you can see from the below Instagram post, they’re not to be messed with.

All of this seems to be pointing towards an apocalyptic end game for Wolverine. With this being Hugh Jackman’s last film as the character, an explosive and defining endgame is promised at the bare minimum, and we can’t wait to see it. There’ll be tears – and blood. Lots of blood.

Jackman is starring alongside Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Richard E Grant, Stephen Merchant, Eriq La Salle, Sienna Novikov and Doris Morgado, with James Mangold directing from a script penned by David James Kelly and Michael Green, and Simon Kinberg, Hutch Parker and Lauren Shulur Donner attached as producers.

Logan will be released in cinemas on 3 March 2017. You can download The 25 Greatest Marvel Comics Ever digital edition from GreatDigitalMags.com now. For more news about the latest movies, pick up the new issue of SciFiNow.
